Barale Fratelli (Azienda Agricola)
The Barale Brothers vineyard dates to 1870.
Today Sergio Barale follows with meticulous care the succession of all the various phases of cultivation of the 20 hectares of vineyards situated on the most historical hills of Barolo, Monforte d’Alba (Langhe). 
The quality of the wines is obtained from the vine: this is our guiding philosophy.
The main house is situated in the ancient town of Barolo. There, next to the old cellars, are the new cellars for vinification and bottling with modern equipment and technologies, but always respecting the traditional standards.
The result is a very long-lived wine, which in the extraordinary fullness and complexity of its bouquet always bears witness to the land and the men who have produced it. Wines include: Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Langhe Chardonnay, Roero Arneis and Moscato d’Asti. Total production: 120,000 bottles.

Red Wine

Vigna Castellero The Castellero vineyard: 6 hectares with a South-West exposure, in the borough of Barolo. The NEBBIOLO grape of the Michet variety is cultivated using the low guyot system with a planting layout of 5,000 vines per hectare. Average production: 40 quintals of grapes per hectare. Manual grape-picking with careful selection of the bunches, in the second half of October. Fermentation in 50 hectolitre oak vats for a period of 15-20 days with frequent immersing of the skins. It is matured in oak casks of medium capacity (15-30 hectolitres) for about 3 years.

Red Wine

At Barolo, in the historic Preda subzone we cultivate 1.50 hectares of Barbera grapes. It has a South – West exposure, and a high density of planting with a yield of only 35 quintals per hectare.
Manual grape-picking with careful selection of the bunches, in the second half of October (late harvest).
This gives us a Barbera d’Alba Vigna Preda of an exceptionally rich extraction. It matures for a year in French oak casks (500 litres) and after several months of further refining in the bottle, it fully expresses all its frankness.
