Since 1962 our company has been in the food industry producing vinegars under the brand Mengazzoli, but its origin is more remote and comes from an age-old experience, passed down from generation to generation by the vinegar manufacturers of Mantua.

Owned by the Brandolini family since 1780 when it was operated by Count Brandino Brandolini d’Adda, Vistorta is a 500-acre estate located in western Friuli-Venezia Giulia. With substantial winemaking investments in Bordeaux, Brandino acquired the know-how and entrepreneurial spirit which he applied to his 35 hectares of vineyard planted with 90% merlot.
