Furlotti & C. Srl
The company was founded in 1963 by Giacomo Furlotti and Camillo Utini. At the beginning it was a small factory in the centre of Medesano (PR), specialized in the manufacturing of pancetta and coppa, two Italian specialties.
The personal experience of the founders turned it into an important and modern food industry as it is today.
With the passing of the time, the sons succeeded their fathers in the business and today Franco and Ermes Furlotti together with Alessandro Utini manage the company according to their fathers’ philosophy.
For than 50 years Furlotti has been producing, through traditional manufacturing methods, a unique selection of deli products such as pancetta, coppa di Parma, pork loin, roasted cooked ham with herbs and roasted Porchetta (whole or cutted) and today it is leader in the manufacturing of diced products.
The changes in customer’s habits led up to the creation of a third plant in the same area dedicated to the manufacturing of sliced products.
Despite the passing of the time, the traditional production methods remained the same, whereas accompanied by technological innovations: the quality of our products depends, first of all, on the raw material and on the care dedicated to the manufacturing processes.
Our customers are mostly department stores, retailers and wholesalers that we supply with their own private label, as well as with our own brand.
In 2013 the company celebrated the 50th year of presence in the word of sausages with the acquisition of a ham factory in Langhirano already operating since 1963 in the production of Parma ham now called Furlotti Prosciutti srl: the company completes the range of references produced with respect for tradition and quality characterizing the products of home Furlotti.

Cured Meats

Pastrami is a delicatessen meat made from beef brisket, brined, partly dried, seasoned with various herbs and spices, (garlic. Coriander seeds, black pepper, paprika, cloves, allspices), then smoked and steamed. The recipe and the word Pastrami originate from Armenia. The specialty was introduced to the United States: Pastrami is an iconic New York foodstuff. In North America, pastrami is typically sliced and served hot on rye bread, sometimes accompanied by coleslaw and Russian dressing, in Los Angeles, pastrami is typically served hot on a French roll. Also popular in Southern California is a hamburger topped with pastrami, lettuce, tomato, onions, mustard, ketchup, and thousand island dressing, known as the Colossal Burger. Pastrami is also the favorite sandwich of Woody Allen! You can taste Pastrami also as topping for pizza or to enrich your salads or pasta and so on.
