Caseificio La Cava (https://www.caseificiolacava.com) is a top quality cheese producer since 1960. Our mission is to promote dairy traditional methods and processes, within a naturalistic ecosystem that includes 160 non-intensive farms in free mountain pastures. We constantly adopt technologically advanced processes and the most advanced consumer health protection measures, allowing us to keep BRC and IFS certifications. Additionally, Caseificio La Cava is involved in R&D (Research and Development) thanks to frequent collaborations with leading universities. As part of the latest R&D efforts, we are developing a new Halal cheese product. The production of traditionally Italian hard and semi-seasoned cheeses is at the core of our business. Our product portfolio includes over 40 different tasty and healthy pecorino and cow’s cheeses, which are distributed via large retail chain scale distributors, supermarkets, convenience stores, and the HO.RE.CA./ catering and "normal trade" circuits. We also have a number of private label agreements relating to our most common dairy products.
